Intellectual Property Rights and Content Ownership
When you use our printing services, please understand that our role is exclusively to offer high-quality printing on a variety of media. Our service includes the physical production of your items, utilizing the materials (e.g., paper, canvas, plastic) specified in your order. However, it’s crucial to acknowledge that we do not confer any ownership or rights to the intellectual property of the content you choose to print.
Content Responsibility: As the customer, you bear full responsibility for ensuring that you possess the necessary rights or permissions to use the content for printing. This includes adhering to copyright laws and obtaining any required licenses or authorizations for copyrighted material that does not belong to you or is not in the public domain.
No Transfer of Content Rights: Our service agreement with you does not include the provision or transfer of any rights regarding the content itself. The purchase and use of our printing services grant you no additional intellectual property rights over the content you provide for printing. You are paying for the physical print and the labor to produce it, not for rights or ownership of the content depicted or included on the media.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless our company and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense arising out of your use of our services in violation of copyright laws or due to unauthorized use of intellectual property.
Due Diligence: We reserve the right to refuse printing services for any content that is believed to infringe on copyright laws or where appropriate permissions are not clearly obtained. It’s in our mutual interest to respect the intellectual property rights of creators and to ensure that all printed materials are produced legally and ethically.
Original Creations by Our Company: We offer an assortment of original designs and content created in-house by our talented team. These designs are the intellectual property of our company, and we provide them as options for you to choose from for your printing needs. When selecting one of our original creations, you’re receiving a product that’s not only unique but also legally cleared for printing and personal or commercial use, subject to the terms outlined in this agreement.
Customer-Provided Content: We also print content that is provided to us by you, the customer. This includes any images, text, designs, or any other content that you submit for printing. By providing this content, you affirm that you hold the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to use this material and that it does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of third parties.
Content On Our Shop: Not all items in our shop are printed on demand. We also have a variety of in-stock, physical, ready-to-ship content in our inventory acquired from other vendors. Our print-on-demand items include content provided by customers, approved by artists, or sourced from commercial use, public domain artwork, and media sources. However, we understand that sometimes there may be disputes over content ownership. If you believe your work has been misrepresented in our shop, please reach out to us directly.
Resale of Licensed Goods
From time to time, we may offer official, licensed merchandise (such as posters or apparel) that we have lawfully obtained from authorized retailers, distributors, or third-party vendors. These items are sold under the first sale doctrine, which permits the resale of legally acquired copyrighted goods.
We do not reproduce, manufacture, or create unauthorized copies of such goods. All products offered for resale are original items acquired through legitimate channels. All rights, trademarks, and character likenesses remain the property of their respective owners. Our resale of these items does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by the original rights holders.
Responsibility for Content: It’s important to reiterate that you are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you provide complies with applicable laws, including copyright and intellectual property laws. You must ensure that you have the right to use this content for printing purposes. Our assumption is that, by submitting content for printing, you either own the content or have obtained all necessary permissions for its use.
Right to Decline: We reserve the right to refuse printing services for any content provided by customers if it does not align with our company policies. This measure is to maintain integrity and respect.
By choosing our printing services, you acknowledge and agree to these terms regarding the source and use of content for printing.
